If you are beginner then the most difficult task for you is to place finger on particular note or string or fret.
Here I’m giving you the 1st lesson which I give to my friends and students on the 1st day in guitar practice. It’s one of the basic exercises for your fingers. If you do it perfectly then it will be a good start for you. At initially you will find it boring, but if you stick to it, you gonna rewarded.
Now, here we start.

Use finger with respect to the fret i.e.

1st finger (Index Finger) on 1st fret
2nd finger (middle Finger) on 2nd fret
3rd finger (ring Finger) on 3rd fret

 0 mean open string that mean play string without placing your finger on fret.
Try to play in same interval. If possible use metronome application (mobile, PC) or just tap your foot in same interval.
